A Great Paperweight August 31, 2010 LuxShopper (Silicon Valley) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a HP fan and this printer is not even compatible with my new HP system. It constantly has printing spool errors (you need to go to services and stop and restart spooler) and then it loses all the print drivers. When it works its just fine/good in terms of quality (although noisy and constantly adjusting as others have reported) but this product is absurdly unstable. Copying function is good. Save yourself a lot of time and frustration and buy a different printer.
Very nice wireless printing August 27, 2010 Shepard K. Smith 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a big improvement over my previous series 6200 printer. Its wireless and prints on both sides and is more substantial and not nearly as flimsy.
Not worth the time money or effort August 25, 2010 mattw8888 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was able to install and work this printer-that much was easy. This printer takes FOREVER to do anything. On my old printer (which died in a car wreck) I would tell it to print and it was done. This piece of junk takes it sweet time. You command it to print and it sits there for about 15 seconds. Then it does some sort of shifting around and warming up and god knows what else it is doing. This goes on for about 45 seconds. Then it actually prints. That is assuming it doesn't have a mystery paper jam. Since there is no paper jammed I don't understand what the problem is. The fun part is that this process is repeated every single time you want to print. I will print one page. Stop for less than one minute to prepare a new page and click the print button. In that short amount of time the printer is back to ignoring me for 15 seconds, switching gears, warming up and whatever it does for an additional 45 seconds before actually printing. Find a different printer. Do not buy this one.
Excellent printer!! August 22, 2010 rexter 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This printer is for a 12hr/week office. It replaced a Ricoh printer and HP 621(?) all-in-one. This thing is amazing! No jams, prints and copies extremely fast, and uses very little in with the 920XL cartridge. You can't go wrong here.
Impossible to set up wireless with Mac August 19, 2010 Donna T. Morrison I had read the reviews on this printer, but my daughter had a wireless HP All In One and hers was great, so I purchased this one. Unfortunately, it was a different model. I should have listened to the reviews. It took hours to set up the wireless features with a PC, the instructions were not easy to follow, and I could not get it to work wireless on my Mac Book at all. It will work only hard wired. I bought it for the Mac, so I was very disappointed. It is extremely slow, noisy, and takes forever to print. I have had several HP printers over the years and have really liked them, but i totally wasted my money on this one. Don't buy this model, it's terrible.
