Unfortunately, two weeks after receiving my Epson 810 it stopped working. I looked for a paper jam for an hour with no luck. It just asked me to restart over and over again, but that did nothing. I then called Epson and without hesitation they sent me a new printer the very next day. I returned the old one in the same box. They even gave me a free shipping label. I thought this was impressive customer service. The new printer is working fine, even the faxing feature and setting it up to be wireless that I thought would be a problem.

Typically we are HP owners but since we anticipate a need to print higher quality digital photos we decided to purchase an Epson this time. We are very happy that we did. This product meets our needs for that purpose. The thing we like best is the ink cartridges. The colors each have their own separate cartridge as opposed to being all in one. The set up was a breeze because the instructions were explicit and easy to read, including the wifi printing set up. The quality and speed of the print jobs are excellent and the scanning function is easy to use. We haven't used the fax yet so we can't report on that function, but don't anticipate any problems
Delivery arrived within 48 hours!
Buy this printer; you'll be glad you did.

The features of this printer are great. The print quality on Photo Paper looks great, better than I expected however, the print quality on premium paper varies from ok to very good. Overall I would recommend this printer.

Printers have come a long way since the 80's. Quality and utility has especially rocketed. The Artisan only lacks the ability to scan slides and negatives, so I had to buy a V500 for that job.

So far, the Artisan is infinitely easier to use and deal with than any HP printer I've ever owned. I plan to buy Epson products from now on. Setup and installation was a breeze. Printing to it is a snap. It is pretty noisy but that doesn't really bother me. All in all we are happy with the purchase. I suppose the real test will be to see if I still feel the same in 6 months.
